I attended the Glorium HealthTech 2023-2024 Summit today. The company put together an amazing roster of speakers. Doctor Vasiliu-Feltes brought attendees up to speed on the latest and technological capabilities and their pros and cons, such as cost, staff training, internal alignmentand privacy. Blair Butterfield provided an excellent history of efforts past and present to arrive at one solution for optimal applications of patient data records. all great food for thought and challenges to keep in mind as we take solutions back to our organizations. Hello, I really enjoyed the summit. I enjoyed the focus on healthcare and how vulnerable our security is. I liked the idea that it is not an IT issue. We all need to step up our concept of privacy and security. The intrinsic bias focus with Dr. O was in point. As clinicians, we need to work with the programmers to diversify our paradigms. Our algorithms need to be clear to prevent biased medical errors.
