Glorium Technologies Guided by ISO 26000 Principles

Designing software solutions is closely tied to building a better society. Technology can transform lives, but how it’s created, shared, and applied comes with commitments beyond business results. That’s why our operations at Glorium Technologies are guided by ISO 26000 on social responsibility.
Disclaimer:
ISO 26000 is a guidance standard and not subject to certification. This text is our self-declaration.
Unlike standards focused solely on compliance, ISO 26000 offers a broader perspective on ethical operation. It covers governance, labor practices, community involvement, and environmental care, among other things. By aligning with these principles, we aim to drive innovation and create lasting value, and we report progress with metrics annually for the people and communities we serve.
This page describes our current practices and may be updated. It is not a legal statement or a contract.

ISO 26000 guidance was created to help organizations act ethically, transparently, and respectfully towards society. Where other standards concentrate on audits or compliance, ISO 26000 guides companies to carry responsibility through their daily decisions and strategic vision.
These principles guide Glorium Technologies’ operations. Fairness and equality shape how we collaborate with clients, support employees, and partner with stakeholders. Frequent reviews of our policies and processes help ensure they reflect the highest ethical standards in governance, labor relations, and community engagement. We regularly host webinars with external speakers, share practices, and answer questions. Besides, we gather feedback from clients and partners through surveys and meetings, and factor it into improvement plans.
To remain transparent, we share concrete examples and measurable outcomes from our initiatives. We are also considering an external assessment of our self-declaration to add another layer of accountability and show our practices are genuine.
Any data we see on a server is not about numbers, but people’s trust in us, which we honor. Guided by ISO 26000 principles, we commit to handling information fairly, openly, and with the highest level of protection.
We always gather information with explicit consent and want people to understand why their data is needed and how it will support their goals. Once collected, data is encrypted and handled with care and kept safe from misuse, bias, or unauthorized access.
We obtain consent where applicable and apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, such as encryption in transit/at rest, role-based access, quarterly access reviews, and an incident response process with defined SLAs. Equally important, we keep an open dialogue with our clients. Rather than relying on policies alone, we explain how their data is protected, building a stronger and more reliable partnership.
Our responsibility to society goes further than the projects we deliver for clients. At Glorium Technologies, we actively invest in initiatives that strengthen the communities we serve. We host and sponsor summits, webinars, and knowledge-sharing events that bring together innovators and professionals from diverse fields. These initiatives support continuous learning and spread awareness about sustainable technologies.
Healthcare is another area we care deeply about, whether by backing medical aid initiatives or building digital tools that improve patient outcomes.
Our teams are encouraged to participate in volunteer projects, charitable contributions, and local social campaigns. Companies have a role in uplifting society, and our efforts are directed to create tangible benefits for people around us.
We bring ISO 26000 principles into our policies, training, and delivery processes by updating work instructions, training teams, and using ISO 26000 guidance and due-diligence criteria when evaluating contractors and suppliers. Each year, we review this approach and refine it based on feedback and internal reviews and management oversight aligned to ISO 26000 guidance..

We use the seven core subjects of ISO 26000 as a framework for our policies and processes. Each subject provides practical direction on how to act responsibly. Below, we outline how we integrate each area into our operations.
At Glorium Technologies, we believe good governance starts with being open and accountable. Transparency and fairness guide our decisions, and every company level has clearly defined responsibilities. Policies are kept up to date and reviewed regularly. Roles and decision-making are documented so teams know who is responsible for what.
Our team follows ISO 26000 guidance by respecting human rights wherever we operate. That means maintaining zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or any form of forced labor. Respect for human rights also shapes the way we build our products. Accessibility is always a priority, so everyone can use our digital products without barriers.
People are at the heart of Glorium Technologies. We support professional growth through continuous training, mentorship, and opportunities to take on new challenges. Diversity and inclusion are equally important to us, and we work to ensure that everyone has equal chances to succeed. Together, these efforts create a workplace culture where dignity, fairness, and well-being are a part of daily life.
Tech companies have a responsibility for the environment, too. That’s why we choose energy-efficient cloud services and encourage remote work where it makes sense. We also adopt sustainable practices in our offices, such as waste separation where available, minimizing single-use materials, and favoring digital over print. Going digital-first helps us cut down on unnecessary waste.
We stand firmly against corruption, support fair competition, and make sure every contract we sign is transparent. When choosing partners and vendors, we look for those with the same ethical values. That’s another reason we are considering an external verification of our self-declaration—to strengthen trust and show clients and stakeholders that our practices are legitimate.
Our responsibility doesn’t end with delivering software; it extends to every client and end-user who relies on it. We create secure, dependable, and simple solutions, adhering to global standards. For EU projects, we implement GDPR-compliant controls where applicable, as defined by contract and law. For US healthcare projects that involve ePHI, we apply HIPAA Security Rule safeguards as contractually and legally required. To keep improving, we listen closely to feedback and use it to refine our work.

Supporting communities is a natural part of doing business responsibly. We organize and participate in summits, webinars, and collaborations with academic institutions to pass on insights. We contribute to technology projects and support medical aid initiatives that help improve people’s well-being.
We connect our efforts to the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the ISO 26000 context. Together, these frameworks shift the focus beyond profit, asking organizations also to consider how their actions affect society and the environment. While ISO 26000 is guidance, not a certifiable standard, it gives us a clear structure to align our work with global sustainability goals and ensure our growth contributes to positive change.
At Glorium Technologies, our initiatives directly support several SDGs:
We may undergo verification under SIS/TS 2 with bodies accredited to ISO/IEC 17029, further reinforcing that our self-declaration is credible and crystal-clear.
Living by the ISO 26000 guidance shows our clients, employees, and partners that ethics drive everything we do. Clients know their data is in safe hands, employees feel respected and supported, and communities experience meaningful benefits from our actions. Together, these actions make Glorium Technologies more than a service provider—we’re a company people are proud to partner with.
