He was named a Global Leader of Influence by the World Affairs Council of Houston, was awarded the Order of Merit by President Zelenskyy, was honored with the Global Impact award at the HITDC 2022 G7 gala, and previously, the Texas Black Expo bestowed him their Community Builder Award.     After receiving his B.A.C.S. in 2012, Amil joined Hewlett-Packard (HP) in Silicon Valley. In 2016, Amil joined Pivotal Software as a software engineer. In 2018, Amil took leave from work to move to Japan, and was appointed Evolution Ambassador and sent to the One Young World conference to represent Japan. In early 2020, Amil left his job to pursue graduate studies in Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University.
