Product Background

Our goal was to build a secure all-in-one tool for completing commercial appraisals from anywhere.

Challenge

The app needed to serve as a tool for everyday professional use. That meant it had to provide a list of properties to visit, perform an assessment, map the locations, and create the shortest route. In addition to serving as a task manager, it needed to allow the creation of floor plans and attachments. As appraisers sometimes work at sites with poor cellular coverage, the product also needed to offer offline support.

Solution

We have vast experience in the Real Estate domain, so we understand what appraisers really need in their day-to-day work.

WE DEVELOPED THE APP WITH FEATURES SUCH AS:

  • Sophisticated workflow. Creating tasks for an inspector with further review and approval by a manager.
  • In-app messaging. Contacting a property manager to schedule a visit.
  • Directions. Defining the shortest route to visit all properties.
  • Measuring. Using a mobile device to measure the precise area on the site.
  • Evaluation support. Capturing and attaching images to documents.

Results

We created an app that stores detailed information of all CRE object parameters and serves as one point of knowledge. This universal instrument allows appraisers to complete inspections from desktop or mobile (tablet) and go paperless.

Client Background

Control.IT is the largest German provider of software that has been developing IT solutions for real estate and portfolio management since 1995. The company provides/maintains a database that helps property managers to identify risks and opportunities and make the right investment decisions. Challenge

Control.IT pioneered with bison.box in 1995 and, with zero competition, introduced it to the market solidly. Still, it remains the company’s leading product.
Control.IT turned to us upon recommendation with a request for transforming its successful application into a SaaS solution. The main task was to re-architecture the infrastructure for more flexibility, shift it to the Cloud, and modernize UI/UX while keeping database structure changes to a minimum.

Solution

We’ve built complete infrastructure from scratch moving the database to the Azure cloud, which was chosen for its security and reliability. Some core application parts were set as NuGet packages.
Existing desktop features were modified and updated while front-end and API were created from scratch. Now the product has an intuitive and consistent interface and performs faster due to the cloud storage.

Client Background

BBMK Technologies design innovative software solution – NikoHealth – to help healthcare organizations provide better patient care and improve operational efficiencies.

Challenge

The idea was to cover intake, billing, inventory control, documentation, and delivery management within one platform to be used both from the web and mobile.

Goal 1: Build an in-app billing platform

For efficient order fulfillment, we joined multiple dropship providers and enabled reporting. For versatility, inventory processes may be managed from working place via apps or through a scanner at the warehouse.

Goal 3: Build a scheduling system for performing in-house delivery

  • Challenge:

To implement scheduling algorithms for handling multiple appointments for various types of users.

  • Solution:

Customers see available time slots and book dates in customizable calendars that are integrated with Google maps for routing and driving time calculation along with a dashboard for drivers.

Goal 4: Build an in-app patient data processing

  • Challenge:

To support different data formats allowing its validation and filtering.

  • Solution:

The system imports various types of patients’ data allowing structuring geolocation, billing, inventory information, and checks data through external sources via the custom validation engine.

Goal 5: Implement an order processing system including resupply function.

To support different ordering scenarios, including reordering and fulfillment.

  • Solution:

We set up a universal ordering process to fit different retail flows, integrating with third-party providers for the reordering.

Goal 6: Implement a help-desk system.

Simplify and automate interaction with customers through the application.

  • Solution:

We implemented a functionality to search directly for the application, tickets creation, chat with a support team through third-party integration.

Results

We built a complete all-in-one solution for HME/DME providers and patients. Being over 3 years in production, NikoHealth helps businesses go paperless, improve operational efficiencies, and provide better patient care. With enabled real-time synchronization, it’s suitable both for web and mobile, making patients’ lives more predictable by giving them deliverables in a flexible and fully-automated way. Moreover, the user-friendly interface appeals to both sides – delivery managers and customers.

Data-driven diagnostic and predictive app for improving infant outcomes.

Client Background

Astarte Medical is a precision nutrition company that turned to us to build software based on proprietary predictive analytics. The solution is meant to improve outcomes for preterm infants with a suite of digital tools and diagnostics.

Challenge

We had to build a forecasting & tracking web application for the infants’ treatment plans from scratch.

MAIN COMPONENTS MEANT TO BE:

Solution

To standardize feeding, optimize nutrition, and quantify gut health of preterm infants with our app, we implemented:

Results

Core to Astarte Medical is their comprehensive and proprietary dataset, which integrates feeding protocols, microbiome profiles, and clinical information. We synchronized it with the web application making it generate actionable suggestions in the form of a decision tree.

A data-driven tool for organizing commercial property lease flow.

Product Background

(Re)Meter was established by commercial real estate veterans to help owners, brokers, and asset managers to find reliable tenants, visualize trends, perform comparisons, deal modeling, and make quick, profitable leasing decisions based on outstanding data.

Challenge

As the software was built 6 years ago, our mission was to update the tech stack for better performance and support.

THE CRUCIAL FEATURES TO BE DEVELOPED:

  • A fully customizable deal approval flow based on different scenarios and approval criteria;
  • Risk-assessment tool based on accurate info on tenant financials and deal terms;

Auto-faxing and information exchange for healthcare organizations.

Product Background

The Client is the leading provider of enterprise-wide document delivery solutions for the healthcare industry. Their product automates sending high volume reports such as lab results, a solution for hundreds of top hospitals.

Challenge

The product was powered by Microsoft Silverlight technology / plugin that, as the company revealed, won’t be supported commencing next year. So, the main goal was to update the existing web application with the latest technologies and ensure a seamless transfer.

ADDITIONALLY, WE NEEDED TO:

  • Design a web interface for FAX usage in organizations
  • Create, send, manage recipients and statuses of FAX deliverables
  • Provide security of the application’s data avoiding legacy technologies.

Solution

To allow delivering information more flexibly, we:

  • Recreated a web application using Angular and C#
  • Integrated part of the old Silverlight app into the new one to support real users experience
  • Provided backward compatibility with the early app to allow smooth transfer
  • Applied reverse engineering of the previous app to facilitate the migration of FAX functionalities.

Results

Our solutions helped to update the software and remove technology disruptions that caused lost-in-transit paper reports or separate prints occurrences. Smooth documents management positively affects patient care allowing health providers to focus on diagnostics and treatment.

Challenge

The primary purpose was to build a cloud-based all-in-one tool allowing potential investors to estimate CRE object value by modeling it via predicting cash flows.

It’s accessible from the web or mobile device and provides unlimited modeling scenarios making Fuel crucial for owners, investors, property managers, appraisers, and brokers.

FEATURES IMPLEMENTED:

  • Financial modeling mechanism allows real-time calculation of all elements of cash flow and main financial metrics like IRR, Capitalization rates, and Equity multiplicators.
  • The product covers all areas of modeling: Revenue side, Expenses side (CapEx, OpEx), debt burden (loans taken) modeling, recoverability of expenses, etc.
  • Fuel reports are accepted by banks during the underwriting process.
  • Integration with market data providers (VTS, JDE, Strategic Group, RealPage Corp.) allows retrieving market data per industry/region/ property type, etc.
  • The product allows the creation of sensitivity layers – each factor can be changed and the result of such change is shown, allowing the incremental impact of every component to be seen.
  • Modeling mechanism counts all elements per property unit or tenant, monthly, and per each revenue/expense category.
  • Recoverability of expenses could be modeled on the tenant/unit level as % of the area occupied, % of overall costs, or an absolute amount.

Fuel started in 2012 and quickly became the best in class application. It’s available for the USA market and is planned to expand to Europe.

The daily work of property managers who use bison.box app is further aligned with sales departments, tenants, accountants, and data transfers. To cover this cooperation, the Client felt the need to create a new task management tool and integrate it with the existing product.

Solution

We designed the tool from scratch integrating it with the existing ecosystem.

Ophard Hygiene

UI/UX design and interface for the IoT platform that helps tracking provision on hygiene supplies in hospitals.

Client Background

Our client is a dispenser manufacturer that addresses hospitals’ needs with sensors that measure the dosage volume and the timestamp of hand disinfection. They send this data wirelessly through the IoT platform and run analysis programs to ensure compliance with the rules.

Challenge

The former product’s interface was in production for 8 years and required significant improvements. The manufacturer turned to us to develop an interactive smart solution to reform and monitor hand hygiene and eventually reduce hospital-acquired infections.

CHALLENGES:

  • To build a unique and customized web interface for IoT platform
  • To make the web interface user-friendly and adjustable for detailed statistical data checking
  • To create a cross-platform mobile app synchronized with a web app.

We reworked the entire front-end part of the application using the latest technologies to provide stability, a mature interface, and better user support.

Our Client has been operating a teledentistry platform enhanced with costly video streaming. They’ve just developed a new intraoral camera and decided to reimagine the streaming service, making it top-quality but affordable for care providers.

Challenge

The Client was seeking a way to embed a recently created hardware (intraoral camera) with the newest video-streaming tools making it available to use via desktop and mobile devices.

OUR GOALS WERE:
