Our client’s team is composed of mathematicians, linguists, and data scientists researching and prototyping artificial intelligence tools. After developing several products, they noticed a demand for a secure platform that allows healthcare experts to interact with one another, to manage their resumes and certificates, and to vote and take surveys.
By analyzing and following the market, we came up with a way to extend the social network for the healthcare community. What was originally meant to be a compliant, AI-enabled, cross-platform, multifunctional-tool that recognizes medical numbers and images, became a kind of “Google for medicine” — providing the latest industry news and medical tools.
In order to design an app that is to be a meeting point for the medical community, we based the architecture around the following four key-activities: visualization, exploring, learning, and sharing knowledge.

The app that makes commercial appraisals from any device easier.
Our goal was to build a secure all-in-one tool for completing commercial appraisals from anywhere.
The app needed to serve as a tool for everyday professional use. That meant it had to provide a list of properties to visit, perform an assessment, map the locations, and create the shortest route. In addition to serving as a task manager, it needed to allow the creation of floor plans and attachments. As appraisers sometimes work at sites with poor cellular coverage, the product also needed to offer offline support.
We have vast experience in the Real Estate domain, so we understand what appraisers really need in their day-to-day work.
WE DEVELOPED THE APP WITH FEATURES SUCH AS:
Sophisticated workflow. Creating tasks for an inspector with further review and approval by a manager.
In-app messaging. Contacting a property manager to schedule a visit.
Directions. Defining the shortest route to visit all properties.
Measuring. Using a mobile device to measure the precise area on the site.
Evaluation support. Capturing and attaching images to documents.
We created an app that stores detailed information of all CRE object parameters and serves as one point of knowledge. This universal instrument allows appraisers to complete inspections from desktop or mobile (tablet) and go paperless.
Auto-faxing and information exchange for healthcare organizations.
The Client is the leading provider of enterprise-wide document delivery solutions for the healthcare industry. Their product automates sending high volume reports such as lab results, a solution for hundreds of top hospitals.
The product was powered by Microsoft Silverlight technology / plugin that, as the company revealed, won’t be supported commencing next year. So, the main goal was to update the existing web application with the latest technologies and ensure a seamless transfer.
ADDITIONALLY, WE NEEDED TO:
Design a web interface for FAX usage in organizations
Create, send, manage recipients and statuses of FAX deliverables
Provide security of the application’s data avoiding legacy technologies.
To allow delivering information more flexibly, we:
Recreated a web application using Angular and C#
Integrated part of the old Silverlight app into the new one to support real users experience
Provided backward compatibility with the early app to allow smooth transfer
Applied reverse engineering of the previous app to facilitate the migration of FAX functionalities.
Our solutions helped to update the software and remove technology disruptions that caused lost-in-transit paper reports or separate prints occurrences. Smooth documents management positively affects patient care allowing health providers to focus on diagnostics and treatment.
A platform for tracking and improving sleep activities.
The Client owns a sleep lab management solution that provides managing patients’ sleep care: from scheduling sleep tests and physician visits to coordinating treatment. The platform is used by lab management companies, independent diagnostic testing facilities, physician-owned labs, and hospitals.
The Client needed to replace the outdated desktop version of the product and build a new one using the latest technologies.
OUR GOALS WERE:
To build a desktop app using WebRDP to reach it from the web app
To integrate the web app with a new server using the latest APIs
To connect sleep devices to the new app through DLL libraries adjustment

CAE Orion app improves healthcare training providing the connection between mobile devices and training models’ firmware.
CAE Healthcare is a division that develops medical simulation products, new equipment validation, medical device trials, educational content, and more. With their mannequin simulators, CAE offers targeted training to hospitals, medical schools, emergency response teams, military branches, nursing, and health programs.
Considering our expertise in the Healthcare sector, we developed Orion mobile apps for connectivity to a range of CAE training models.
